Papa Roach is a rock band from Vacaville, California, USA. Formed in 1993, it consists of Jacoby Shaddix (vocals), Jerry Horton (guitar), Tobin Esperance (bass), and Tony Palermo (drums.) Tony, previously of Unwritten Law, joined the band after the departure of one of the band's founding members, Dave Buckner(drums), in early 2008. They had mostly regional success until their breakthrough with the hit single "Last Resort" from their first major label album, Infest.

August of 2004 saw the release of their third album, Getting Away with Murder. Touring on the immense popularity of the album's second single, "Scars", said to be "the softest song Roach has ever done", Getting Away With murder has currently sold over 1 million albums, reaching platinum status. 2005 was full of continuous touring, including a full United States and European tour.

Papa Roach's 4th major label release "The Paramour Sessions" was released in the United States on September 12th, 2006. The name of the album originated from the place they recorded it, The Paramour Mansion. The 1st single chosen was "...To Be Loved". Their second single from the album, is called "Forever".

Recently, the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment), adapted their single "To Be Loved" as the theme song for their Monday Night RAW program, replacing the previous theme "Across The Nation" by The Union Underground.

The band is currently recording their next album, set to be titled, "Metamorphosis." Again, the band visited the Paramour Mansion for inspiration. There is not yet a set date for the release of the new album.
